The first three steps to launch your new network marketing business.

1. Make a list, not of names, but this time include the kind of people you want to work with in your business. Do you want to work with professionals, business people, sales people, managers, farmers, people like you or people opposite. Some of your friends may be among them and eventually you will introduce them to your business, but not in the first 24 hours. You will wait for them to come to you.

2. Knowing the people like those in your list, what would make them want to be in business with you? Generally, money motivated entrepreneurs look for leaders. What information do you have that will help them make money in their current business? That begins to establish you as a leader.

3. Relationships are about adding value to people. How do you add value to your friends? You help them and you even ask for their help. You want to use those same skills as you meet new people you identified in step one. What unique skills, talent or information do you already have that would help people better succeed in the market place? You may have to involve a friend to help you, but develop a document, system or programs around what you have to offer.

Now you have a foundation on which to build a network marketing business. You will not get shot down by your family and friends in the first 24 hours. Instead you will make a plan, use the skills you already have and begin to develop a marketing strategies to raise awareness of your leadership among the kinds of people you want to attract to your business.

Young network marketers are creating a new doctrine that emerges from the technology revolution. From that doctrine come strategies for developing a presence, branding leadership and ultimately inviting people you have come to know and like into your business.
